Options Dialog

The following settings are available on the Options dialog box:

Settings Selects a pre-defined settings set.
Save As... Saves the currently defined settings under a new name.
Delete Deletes the selected settings set.
Pen Settings Click this button to define the color and thickness of each pen.
Automatically Copy to the Clipboard Check this option to automatically copy the MetaFile to the Windows Clipboard when a HPGL file has been converted.
Don't close after starting via document Check this option to prevent Plot2EMF from automatically closing after converting a plot file that you have double-clicked.
Don't display success messages Prevents the display of the "file.plt converted into file.emf and copied to the Windows Clipboard" information message.
No 'not implemented' warnings Prevents Plot2EMF from logging warnings for non-implemented HPGL commands including CA[n]; CS[n]; PG; PW[n]; SA; SL[...]; SS; UC[...]; and VS[n];.
Don't save log files when successful Plot2EMF deletes the.LOG file when no warnings or errors have been recorded.
Don't optimize arcs and circles When checked, Arcs, circles and wedges will be drawn as a series of line segments, rather than with curve commands.
Device Initialisation "IN;" implied When checked, the rendering engine assumes an "IN;" command before processing the selected file.
Convert text from ASCII to ANSI When checked, text plotted with the LB; (Label) command will be converted from the ASCII (DOS) to ANSI (Windows) character set.
Emulate HP Laser Jet When checked, Plot2EMF will ignore all commands until the sequence Esc%#B is found. Do not use this option unless you are sure that your plot file contains this Escape sequence!
Use High-Resolution Mapping Mode When checked, Plot2EMF uses the HIMETRIC mapping mode, so that each pixel is interpreted as 0.01mm rather than LOMETRIC / 0.1mm. Check this option if the resulting.EMF file is going to be opened with a graphic program like Corel Draw, since it will interpret the default size as being 10 times smaller (resulting in less memory consumption).
"Normalise" coordinate system When checked, Plot2EMF adjusts the coordinate system to start at (0,0). If your drawing uses the IW (Input Window) command, and the converted file is empty, try changing this setting. It may help.
Enable multiple page support When checked, Plot2EMF creates a new.EMF file when a PG; (page feed) command is encountered in the plot file. NOTE: This option will be enabled only when Plot2EMF has been registered!
Expand MetaFile to 'Paper' Size Scales the MetaFile as the plot would appear on paper.
Equal space around the MetaFile Scales the MetaFile to contain only the plotted area, plus the given number of millimeters.
Paper Size Defines the "paper" size: DIN A4, A3, A2, A1 or A0, all in Landscape mode.
Use built-in vector font Specifies that text (labels and symbols) should be drawn using lines rather than as text (font) characters.
Font Face Defines the Windows Font to use when rendering LB (Label) commands. Default is Courier or another fixed-width font.
Select Click this button to change the font face selection. Disabled when the Use built-in vector fonts item is checked.
OK Click this button to save the new settings and exit the Options dialog box.
Cancel Click this button to discard your changes and exit the Options dialog box.
